Anne Russell, originally from Orkney, now lives and works in Perthshire on the banks of the River Tay. Her influences and inspiration derive from growing up in Orkney, walking the shores and cliffs. Her prints are not always representational, instead suggesting a time of day or a memory, capturing the sense of a place. Latterly she has been concentrating on monoprinting either on it’s own, as a one off unique piece of artwork or combining monoprinting with wood cut and etching. Anne graduated from Grays and Glasgow School of Art and exhibits throughout the UK.
Green Thomas are design duo Emma Green and Alan Thomas Dibble. They met at the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London. They launched their brand in 2015 and combine their love of pattern and colour with a passion for knitting in Scotland to produce a contemporary range of textiles using luxurious merino lambswool. Each piece is designed in their studio with production taking place in the Scottish Borders.
