Extended by popular demand until 11 February 2022
Kurt Jackson’s work explores the connection between our environment and us; how we see, feel about and treat the world around us. The exhibition Mermaids’ Tears features over 20 paintings to draw attention to the need to prevent resin pellets or nurdles from plastic manufacturing from polluting the environment. Jackson has collaborated on a new artwork with Dovecot to raise awareness of the devastating effects of plastic pollution in our seas. The exhibition coincides with the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021.
This exhibition is located on the Tapestry Studio Viewing Balcony.
