Hayward Touring has announced the selection of artists including Linder for the British Art Show 8, curated by Anna Colin and Lydia Yee. Linder is collaborating with Dovecot to create a new rug work specifically for the show which will open in October 2015 at Leeds Art Gallery and tour to Edinburgh, Norwich and Southampton. Other supporters and partners of British Art Show 8 including Dovecot Studios are Yorkshire Sculpture Triangle; The Henry Moore Foundation; Create; Fondation d’entrepise Galeries Lafayette; Northern Ballet; and WERK, Birmingham.
BAS8 curators Anna Colin, Lydia Yee and the Head of Hayward Touring Roger Malbert visited Dovecot on Wednesday 20 May to view progress and meet the team. Weaver Jonathan Cleaver, Rug Tufter Dennis Reinmuller and Trainee Rug Tufter Kristi Vana are working closely with Linder on the design for this project.
