Join us on Saturday 1 December for 24 Doors of Advent 2018 with Edinburgh’s Christmas. Take creative inspiration from the Dovecot weavers and their work on show from the Tapestry Studio Viewing Balcony and marvel at the edible delights on offer in our cafe Leo’s at Dovecot.
Attendees will be able to visit the exhibition LIBERTY Art Fabrics & Fashion with a 50% discount on General Admission Tickets bought on the door that day.
The Viewing Balcony will be open to the public from 10.30am – 5.30pm too. There will be a range of resources available for people to explore that chart the history of Dovecot in the lead up to the 10 year anniversary celebrations of the Tapestry Studio’s new home at Infirmary Street, the culmination of this being the Water Surface 2018 Cutting Off Ceremony on Tuesday 4 December.
24 Doors of Advent: Edinburgh’s Christmas is an annual event from 1 – 24 December. Each day a building in Edinburgh opens its doors to the public, offering the opportunity for visitors to discover hidden heritage gems and celebrate the city’s architecture, places and spaces.
