• Christina Jansen talks Contemporary Jewellery in Scotland

Join Christina Jansen, the Managing Director of The Scottish Gallery, as she talks about recent vital trends in collecting jewellery, as well as future directions for the contemporary makers who will be exhibiting in Scotland during the year ahead.

With dedicated jewellery fairs, auction houses, art fairs, open studios, pop ups and Etsy shops becoming rich seams for acquiring modern jewellery, Christina Jansen offers a summary on what will be key to add to your collection. It is set to be an unmissable event for everyone with a passion for wearing, collecting and enjoying contemporary jewellery.

Showcasing new work from contemporary jewellers alongside a celebration of innovative designs from the 20th century, The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh offers a year round survey of modern fine art jewellery. The Scottish Gallery is Scotland’s oldest private gallery, situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. The Gallery specialises in 20th century and contemporary Scottish art and has an international reputation for fine and applied arts, and has a monthly programme of exhibitions and events.
