Storyteller Jan Bee Brown will be gathering a bouquet of stories of rebels who were inspired by the language of flowers and Liberty prints as part of LIBERTY Art Fabrics & Fashion.
Jan’s stories will feature some rare beauties, from Oscar Wilde daring to wear a green carnation to bouquets of barbed wire at the Battle of Glasgow Green. Come and hear tales of ‘malicious mischief’ at Kew Gardens and why late blossoming botanist Isobel Wylie Hutchinson explored the Arctic Circle in search of the illusive arctic poppy.
This event is in association with Book Week Scotland and for the whole family.
Tickets are £6 (+ booking fee)
