Learn the art of knitting colour and pattern in this fun and creative knitting class with expert tutor, Kerry Kimber from Rowan Yarns.
Suitable for those who can already knit and purl, you’ll learn the basics of colour work knitting, including how to read charts, manage multiple strands of yarn, and maintain tension while working with different colours. You will also explore the language of colour and learn how to create beautiful patterns inspired by the iconic textile artist Kaffe Fassett.
You'll be provided with all the materials you need to get creative and experiment with your new skills, including beautiful wooden needles and a selection of Rowan Felted Tweed in various colours. At the end of the workshop, you'll be able to take your knitting needles and extra yarn home with you and you'll have all the skills and confidence you need to continue to create your own colourful knitted designs.
