London | Warp Weft Uncover Workshop at National Gallery
11:00 to 16:00 on 29 July 2017
Meet the weavers from Dovecot Tapestry Studio at the National Gallery in London.
Digitally explore their studio and hear first-hand how they went about the epic task of weaving a tapestry to Chris Ofili’s design.
Taking inspiration from the tapestry you will weave your own work experimenting with colour, material, and texture.
Collaborate with artists and makers in our hands-on creative sessions and investigate ideas, develop new skills, and uncover our collection.
Uncover workshops are for 15–19 year-olds and are led by professional artists, makers, and practitioners to connect you to the creative industries.
