May Morris Curator Breakfast Talk

Dovecot Curator Kate Grenyer explores the life, work, and legacy of May Morris, the younger daughter of William Morris and a key figure in the British Arts and Crafts Movement.

From May’s extraordinary wallpaper and textile designs to her embroidery work, which elevated the medium from a domestic craft to a decorative art form, hear the fascinating story of May’s life and her efforts to champion and preserve the work of her father. Tickets include entry to May Morris Art & Life on the day of the event.

Tickets £12 (+ booking fee), includes entry to the exhibition.

Every ticket sold supports the work of The Dovecot Foundation to advance visual art, craft and design in all its forms.
