Join Dovecot Studios in a live conversation with Prue Leith about tapestry and her lifelong involvement with contemporary art.
Prue Leith CBE has collected and supported the arts throughout her career as a restaurateur, chef, writer and broadcaster, and a key work by Archie Brennan from her collection features in Dovecot’s new exhibition, Archie Brennan: Tapestry Goes Pop!. In this event, Leith will discuss her current involvement with the arts as Chancellor of Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, as well as how she kick-started the public art commissioning programme on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square while she was Chair of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce).
