Join us for a very special online event to celebrate a brand new tapestry that reimagines the work of JMW Turner.
Marking the end of a three-year Dovecot Apprenticeship, Elaine Wilson has been weaving an intricate and artistic interpretation of a watercolour by JMW Turner, one of Britain’s most celebrated artists.
This exclusive online event takes you behind the scenes of Dovecot’s tapestry studio to hear about the creation of this new tapestry and to see the work cut from the loom, a rare event that normally takes place behind closed doors.
Every ticket sold supports the work of The Dovecot Foundation to advance visual art, craft and design in all its forms.
