• Virtual Celebration: The Life and Work of Archie Brennan

Join Kate Grenyer in conversation with the friends and family of Archie Brennan including Nicolas Oddy, Head of Design History at Glasgow School of Art, to celebrate the life and work of tapestry trail blazer, Archie Brennan.

Hear from those who knew him best, weavers he inspired and a new generation of artists, designers and curators who continue to be influenced by Brennan’s legacy. The event is an opportunity to see a sneak peek of the first-ever retrospective dedicated to his work Archie Brennan: Tapestry Goes Pop! at Dovecot Studios.

Please note that following government guidance, Archie Brennan Tapestry Goes Pop! will open once restrictions allow. Follow our website and social media for reopening updates.

Exhibition co-curated with National Museums Scotland

Exhibition supported by the Dovecot Foundation and The Cordis Charitable Trust. This project has been partly funded through Art Happens, Art Fund’s crowd-funding platform.
