Reversible Cubes

Reversible Cubes is part of Dovecot Patterns, a selection of tapestries created by Dovecot's weavers which evokes a cultural conversation through pattern that reaches back thousands of years. For this work Weaver Ben Hymers created a pattern illusionary in nature, referring to geometric patterns on Ancient Greek mosaics. Playing with scale, colour palette and tone, Reversible Cubes is a technically accomplished piece which references ancient patterns in a contemporary way.

This tapestry is available is for sale at £2,000 inclusive of VAT. All funds raised from sales support the work of Dovecot Studios and the tapestry apprenticeship scheme.
