David Poston and Jonathan Cleaver Green Circles collaboration is now on display at National Museums Scotland as part of the New National Collection showcasing the latest additions to the National Museums’ collections including objects that will feature in ten new galleries on decorative art, design, fashion, science and technology opening in 2016 at National Museum of Scotland.
M799 Green Circles, viscose and stainless wire, 2011. “…made in collaboration with weaver Jonathan Cleaver and pulled off the trick of being both visually bold yet extremely subtle. While the strong, geometric shapes catch the eye from the other side of the room, it’s only when you get closer that you can appreciate the extraordinary intricacy with which they were made.” Grant Gibson, Editor, Crafts magazine
