Linder Rug at British Art Show 8 | Edinburgh

The rug Diagrams of Love: Marriage of Eyes created in collaboration with British artist Linder Sterling was commissioned with support from The Dovecot Foundation and Creative Scotland, for inclusion in the Hayward Touring British Art Show 8 which opened at Leeds City Art Gallery and tours to Edinburgh, Norwich and Southampton. The Marriage of Eyes rug is also the ‘eighth dancer’ in a new ballet by Linder titled Children of the Mantic Stain, choreographed by Kenneth Tindall, music by Maxwell Sterling, performed by Northern Ballet and signature sportswear designed by Christopher Shannon which will be performed on Dovecot Tapestry Studio’s Weaving Floor.

BAS8 in Edinburgh is shown across three galleries: Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (Modern One); Inverleith House, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh;Talbot Rice Gallery, University of Edinburgh. for BAS8 opening hours
