For Edinburgh’s Christmas and 24 Doors of Advent Dovecot Tapestry Studio will open its doors for visitors to browse the Weaving Floor from the Viewing Balcony. Curated by Ben Divall, this display on the Viewing Balcony at Dovecot illustrates the diversity of recent rug projects created in collaboration with artists and designers including Linder Sterling, Timorous Beasties, Than Clark, Garry Fabian Miller and Adrian Wiszniewski. You also have a chance to pick up very special gifts from the Selected exhibition which showcases the work of an array of elite craft and design makers selected by an industry panel. Visitors are also invited to browse our shop, selling the latest in contemporary craft, books and materials and relax in our cafe.
