Christine Borland discusses the development of her most recent work, Common Groin with Dr Sarah Worden, Curator of African Collections at National Museums Scotland. Christine’s work references the historical processes of weaving in Malawi and the influence of colonialism on this practice; themes explored by Sarah in particular relation to the Scottish missionary and explorer, David Livingstone.

Christine Borland’s work, Common Groin, currently features in Daughters of Penelope.
