Celebrating the historic loan of the Bayeux to the UK, the display focuses on its legacy to contemporary artists, designers and makers. Expert interpretation from the British Museum is combined with unique insights from Dovecot’s world class weavers and community embroiderers comparing approaches to medieval textile storytelling and modern fine art tapestry.
