• Beaded Embroidery Workshop
    Chloe Patience

This beaded embroidery workshop will take inspiration from our current exhibition Stitched: Scotland's Embroidered Art with a modern twist. Using the imagery and themes from the traditional embroideries on display, you will be using beads and sequins as your medium.

You will learn effective embroidery techniques using beads and sequins, incorporating these into traditional stitches such as Chain, Blanket and Whipped stitch. Learning how to sew embellishments professionally and securely, you will work to create a bright and ornate beaded sampler.

This workshop is aimed at beginners and intermediate stitchers and would be a great follow on from the Thread Work Embroidery workshop.
