• Chris Ofili: The Caged Bird's Song | Director's Tour

Be one of the first to see Chris Ofili: The Caged Bird's Song, with a special opening-day tour with Dovecot Director, Celia Joicey.

Dovecot Studios' major tapestry with Chris Ofili will return to Scotland in Summer 2024. The Caged Bird’s Song, commissioned by The Clothworkers’ Company, will be shown in the context of the tapestry studio where the work was created.

Experience how the colour, myths and magic of Ofili’s watercolour design are transformed into a large format tapestry that took Dovecot’s master weavers over three years to create.
