David Poston and Dovecot Tapestry Studio Master Weaver Jonathan Cleaver in a conversation chaired by Dr Elizabeth Goring.
Prior to the opening of a Necklace for an Elephant and Other Stories, this conversation event will throw light on the exhibition and revisit the collaboration between Dovecot Tapestry Studio and Poston. Jonathan Cleaver worked with Poston to create a series of jewellery items in metal and woven yarn, including the Green Circles bracelet which now sits in the National Museum of Scotland collection. An essay by Dr Elizabeth Goring on Poston’s work features in a comprehensive book accompanying the exhibition published by Ruthin Crafts Centre and The Harley Gallery.
