Discover how costume design supports storytelling on screen. From Peaky Blinders to Dune, Robert Macfarlane has worked as a designer on television and film for over 14 years. A graduate of the award-winning costume design course at Edinburgh College of Art, Macfarlane is passionate about the importance of clothing to character development and storytelling. Learn how he approaches key stages in the design process, from collaboration with creative teams to practical considerations in production, with reference to his professional experience in the industry.

Robert Macfarlane credits include Costume Designer on Channel 4's Screw, BBC's Peaky Blinders and Das Boot for Hulu and Assistant Costume Designer for Dune
