Doors Open Day at Dovecot

This year, we are throwing open our doors again as part of Edinburgh Doors Open Day and welcome all to browse our tapestry and rug collection on the Tapestry Studio Viewing Balcony, catch the end of our Bernat Klein and Kwang Young Chun exhibitions, join a Tapestry Tour at 2pm and marvel at the beauty of our restored Victorian Swimming Baths building. Access to our building and all exhibitions is free.

Doors Open Day is your chance to explore some of Edinburgh’s architecturally and culturally significant buildings – all for free. From heritage landmarks to the city’s newest architecture, Doors Open Day offers free access to properties that are either not usually open to the public or would normally charge an entry fee. The event also offers the public an opportunity to find out more about the capital’s public buildings.
