• May Morris Director Talk

Join Dovecot Director Celia Joicey to hear the fascinating story of May Morris, the youngest daughter of William Morris and a key figure in the British Arts and Crafts Movement.

Preserving the legacy of her father, Morris was appointed director of the embroidery department of Morris & Co from the age of 23. A skilled designer, jeweller, artisan, and editor, hear how she influenced the Arts & Crafts movement and why she deserves recognition outside of her familial namesake.

Tickets £12 (+ booking fee), includes entry to exhibition May Morris Art & Life.

Every ticket sold supports the work of The Dovecot Foundation to advance visual art, craft and design in all its forms.
