• POSTPONED Mid-Century Modern Textiles & Interiors

This event has been postponed. If you purchased a ticket to this event our team will be in touch with you via email. We will post updates on our website and social media channels.

Dovecot exhibitions curator Kate Grenyer leads us through mid-century modern textile design and interiors, and the lifestyle revolution of post-war Britain.

Spanning the period from 1952 to 1977 Mid-Century Modern: Art & Design from Conran to Quant presents furniture, fashion, textiles, lighting, homeware and ceramics in an exhibition that delves into not only the style, but also the socioeconomic importance of this transformative period on everyday life. With a focus on textiles and interiors, learn about mid-century modern style and its enduring influence.

Tickets £12 (+booking fee) include entry to exhibition on day of the event until 5pm.

Every ticket sold supports the work of The Dovecot Foundation to advance visual art, craft and design in all its forms.
