• Stitch It, Don’t Ditch It - Talk & Workshop

Learn the story of the Edinburgh Street Stitchers and their collaboration with SHRUB Coop to address today's throwaway culture.

This special event is an opportunity to meet, and potentially to join, the Edinburgh Stitchers followed by a workshop teaching basic stitching and clothing repair skills. Attendees can choose to bring in their own clothes for bespoke repair advice from the group or join a group to learn how to mend a tear, repair a moth hole or cover a stain.

Copies of the book Stitch It, Don't Ditch It: Simple hand-sewn repairs to help you love your clothes for longer will be available to purchase at the event.

Tickets £15 (includes entry to IKEA: Magical Patterns)
