• Two-Day Tapestry Weaving Experience
    Rob McDougall

Take inspiration from Dovecot Studios' major tapestry with Chris Ofili, The Caged Bird’s Song in this 2-day workshop.

This workshop will lead you through themes and techniques that Dovecot weavers used to create this magnificent tapestry designed by Turner prize winner Chris Ofili. Aimed at those who have a basic knowledge of tapestry weaving and want to explore different design approaches, this workshop is a rare opportunity to delve into the world of the Dovecot weavers and create your own small tapestry inspired by the myths and magic of Ofili’s watercolour design.
