Join us every weekday at 11am to learn the story behind five of Archie Brennan’s iconic works featured in Archie Brennan Tapestry Goes Pop!
In each 20 minute episode Exhibition Curators Kate Grenyer (Dovecot Studios) and Lisa Mason (National Museums Scotland) will focus on a particular tapestry by Brennan and explain the story behind the piece and its importance, giving an in-depth view of key themes within the exhibition.
With many works never or rarely seen before, this online series is the perfect opportunity to discover the work of a master of modern tapestry, and one of Britain’s un-recognised great pop artists. Following the final episode on Friday 9th April, Exhibitions Curator Kate will join us for a live Q&A session.
All episodes will be available to ticket holders outside of the live event time of 11am.
Exhibition co-curated with National Museums Scotland.
Exhibition supported by the Dovecot Foundation and The Cordis Charitable Trust. This project has been partly funded through Art Happens, Art Fund’s crowd-funding platform.
