Arabesco Bird is part of Dovecot Patterns, a selection of tapestries created by Dovecot's weavers which evokes a cultural conversation through pattern that reaches back thousands of years. Taking Italian ceramics as a starting point, Master Weaver Emma Jo Webster honed in on the Arabesco Bird Pattern which originated in Deruta, Italy during the 17th century.
This tapestry is available for sale at £2,000 inclusive of VAT. All funds raised from sales support the work of Dovecot Studios and the tapestry apprenticeship scheme.
