The Battle of the Seasons Collection – Beira

Join us for the last night of KNITWEAR Chanel to Westwood and a live fashion show by Scotland’s sustainable luxury fashion brand, Beira.

Featuring Beira’s latest, The Battle Of Seasons Collection which are designs modelled from luxury fabric off-cuts, Fashion in Action brings ethical and environmental issues into focus against the beautiful backdrop of the world-famous tapestry studios.

You will enjoy a private view of the KNITWEAR exhibition followed by an intimate salon-style fashion parade on Dovecot’s stunning Viewing Balcony. The show is complemented by a presentation from Beira's co-founder Dr Antoinette Fionda Douglas offering insights to the slow fashion movement plus a bar offering a selection of drinks by Dovecot’s leading caterer Hickory.

About Beira
The hyper normalisation of fast fashion is contributing to the destruction of the earth, and impacting social equalities. Fashion needs transparency, accountability and responsibility more than ever. Enter, Beira a sustainable Scottish brand that creates beautiful, functional, limited edition, luxury womenswear using the ethical remanufacturing of discarded materials from the luxury fashion industry. Through their circular sourcing strategy, radical price transparency and focus on social justice, their vision is to become a leader in responsible luxury. Beira was co-founded by Dr Antoinette Fionda Douglas, a UN accredited expert on fashion sustainability, and Flavio Forlani, a world leading luxury fashion manufacturer with 25 years experience and is the most sought after luxury outerwear manufacturer in the world.
