• Mary Schoeser in Conversation

To celebrate the importance of our current exhibition Archie Brennan Tapestry Goes Pop! the first major retrospective exhibition of tapestry trail blazer Archie Brennan, Dovecot Studios have launched an exciting new publication.

Written by Curators Kate Grenyer and Lisa Mason, the publication features newly commissioned images of some of Brennan’s most important tapestries as well as insights into his work, life and weaving practice.

Join the Curators in this online conversation with Mary Schoeser, a leading authority in the field of textiles and Honorary President of the UK Textile Society who has contributed a guest essay to the publication. Together they will discuss Schoeser’s research and reflections on the publication as well as her thoughts on the impact, vitality and legacy of Archie Brennan’s life in tapestry.

Tickets: £5.00
